Visit us Visit us The Canalside Heritage Centre is a vibrant hub for visitors to enjoy and explore, with an enticing tearoom, welcoming gift shop and interpretation centre, as well as tranquil gardens and lots of activities to delight in. Our location on the River Trent and the Beeston and Nottingham Canal makes us an ideal starting point for picturesque walks where you can look out for the many boats, enjoy the changing colours and sunshine on the water and enjoy the plentiful wildlife that can be found at any time of year. We are also located on the Big Track so if you enjoy cycling, we're the perfect spot for refreshments and relaxation after a long ride. Opening times We are currently open 9.30am to 4.00pm, 7 days a week including over the Christmas and New Year period, except on the following days: Christmas Eve: 9.30am - 1pmChristmas Day: CLOSEDBoxing Day: CLOSED We are open as normal on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. How to find us We are located at Beeston Lock, at the end of Canal Side in Beeston Rylands, just cross the wooden footbridge over the canal and the Heritage Centre is to your left. If you are arriving by car there is parking available along the canal but as we are situated within a residential area, we ask that you are please respectful of our neighbours when parking.
