The tearoom is open for a takeaway service seven days a week, 10am to 4pm. The garden and balcony are also now open for you to relax, unwind and enjoy food and drinks purchased from the tearoom - we ask that everyone follows the social distancing rules when using these areas to ensure the safety of everyone on site. We are operating a strict 1-in-1-out policy for the tearoom and ask that no more than 10 people queue at any one time. When queuing, please remain 2 metres apart and do not queue on the 2 foot bridges leading to the Heritage Centre. Please note that face coverings are now mandatory when inside the Heritage Centre. This includes when ordering food and drinks and when using the toilets. Face coverings can be removed when in the garden or on the balcony.

We have a slightly reduced menu but this still includes fantastic hot and cold drinks, breakfast items including croissants, porridge and Danish pastries, as well as homemade scones, cakes and sausage roles! You can view the full takeaway menu here.

We've implemented a thorough range of initiatives to make the site safe such as; hand sanitiser available, a perspex counter screen, doors and windows will remain open to encourage air flow, and staff have received additional training in cleaning protocols. Please can we also ask, for the safety of everyone, that all visitors observe these social distancing rules.

Thank you so much for everyone's support during lockdown, the donations, kind messages and offers of support have been amazing! We hope to see everyone back at CHC in the coming weeks and will keep you posted on when we can fully re-open.
