Remember us in your Will

Beeston Lock and the historic Weir Cottages make for a picturesque and special place on the banks of the River Trent, that we know many people hold fond memories of and care about deeply. As a small, independent charity (Registered Charity No: 1155914) we rely on the generous support of the local community to keep this area special and continue to tell the story of its heritage.

It’s a big decision, but after you’ve provided for your family and friends you might like to also remember us with a gift in your Will. Your donation will be helping to make sure that future generations can discover Beeston Lock and the surrounding area.

Your solicitor will be able to advise you of course, however you will need the following information to be included in your Will:

Charity Name: Canalside Heritage Centre
Address: 2-3 Weir Cottages, Canal Side, Beeston, Nottinghamshire, NG9 1LZ
Registered Charity No: 1155914

In Memory

Donations in lieu of flowers are commonplace these days, so if our site holds fond and special memories for a loved one, an in-memory donation can provide a lasting way to celebrate and mark their life.

Collections can be arranged through a funeral director or donations can be sent to the Management Team at: Canalside Heritage Centre, 2-3 Weir Cottages, Canal Side, Beeston, Nottinghamshire, NG9 1LZ
