Front of House Lead / Assistant Cook

Permanent, full-time - £18,000 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join our catering team and help steer the development of our busy tearoom. The post is at supervisory level and responsible for the continued development of the centre’s front of house catering and hospitality provision. The role is full-time, located at the Canalside Heritage Centre and reporting to the Operations Manager. The Front of House Team Lead / Assistant Cook will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef with the catering provision for the Heritage Centre, ensuring that the Front of House (FOH) runs smoothly. The role holder will organise and delegate the FOH workload, as well as monitoring tasks to maintain high standards. The post will directly supervise Front of House Assistants, tracking all aspects of performance, giving regular feedback to the Operations Manager. You will monitor service provision and ensure that agreed levels are maintained and exceeded where possible, whilst continually looking for ways in which to improve delivery and team performance.
