During the current national lockdown, announced by the government in early January 2021, our tearoom will be remaining open for a takeaway service 7 days a week 10.00am - 3.00pm. All other areas of the Heritage Centre, including the toilets, are closed. Please follow the guidance below when visiting to help keep other visitors and our staff safe.

We are operating a strict 1-in-1-out policy for the tearoom. Please enter through the garden gate and exit via the yellow door at the front of the Heritage Centre.

• Access to the garden is for ordering from the tearoom only. Food and drink MUST be consumed away from CHC premises.
• Please only visit with members of your household or safe bubble and follow the government social distancing guidelines, keeping at least a 2 metre distance from other people and groups. Please do not gather in groups in the garden or at the front of the Heritage Centre.
• Please use the hand sanitisers provided when entering and exiting the building
• Face coverings are MANDATORY when inside the Heritage Centre unless you are exempt.
• Our gift shop is now closed. Due to lack of staff capacity, we will also not be taking online shop orders.
